Traditional Chinese Medicine is a complete medical system that uses acupuncture and herbal medicine to treat many different kinds of ailments and symptoms. Are you worried that acupuncture will be painful? Acupuncture does NOT hurt. That doesn't mean you won't feel anything, but it is nothing like getting an injection, if that's what you're thinking. Most of the time you won't feel much at all and at worst it will feel like a mosquito bite. Don't let something as miniscule as a mosquito bite keep you from getting rid of your chronic knee pain or reducing the inflammation from arthritis. Let go of whatever scary image your mind has of acupuncture, and come in for treatment. We promise to be gentle.

If you are driving to our office from anywhere on the east side of College Avenue, be sure to allow at least 10 minutes more than usual to get here. Mason Street is closed and crossing the train tracks to get to Howes Street is a pain in the butt right now. Not sure how long this construction will tie up local traffic. SHINGLES
In the spring of 2012, Diana suffered from an outbreak of shingles. Though she has treated this in her practice for years, having experienced the pain herself, she is more empathetic to the needs of her patients than ever before. If you suffer from shingles, or know someone who does, please come get acupuncture right away! Diana is now an expert at treating shingles (herpes zoster) with acupuncture and herbal medicine. HELPING WWF SAVE TIGERS
Acupuncture of the Rockies now donates monthly to the World Wildlife Fund to help them in their efforts to stop the poaching of tigers (and other endangered species). Sadly, many tigers are poached in the name of Traditional Chinese Medicine. We need to educate consumers and governments that this is unacceptable.
