Traditional Chinese Medicine is a complete medical system that uses acupuncture and herbal medicine to treat many different kinds of ailments and symptoms. Are you worried that acupuncture will be painful? Acupuncture does NOT hurt. That doesn't mean you won't feel anything, but it is nothing like getting an injection, if that's what you're thinking. Most of the time you won't feel much at all and at worst it will feel like a mosquito bite. Don't let something as miniscule as a mosquito bite keep you from getting rid of your chronic knee pain or reducing the inflammation from arthritis. Let go of whatever scary image your mind has of acupuncture, and come in for treatment. We promise to be gentle.
Diana Hermann, L.Ac. has been studying Traditional Chinese Medicine since 1996 and she is skilled at performing acupuncture and prescribing Chinese herbal medicine. At Acupuncture of the Rockies, it is our belief that when you seek health, you will find freedom. Please don't let your pain or illness hold you back from enjoying your life. Let us help you regain your freedom.
Chinese herbal medicine is amazingly effective at treating the common cold and influenza. Having the right herbs on hand is imperative. You will be able to stop a common cold in its tracks and reduce the duration and severity of the flu. These strong anti-viral herbs are remarkably effective and very affordable. In fact, with all the people getting sick this season, you can't afford not to have these herbs on hand. Current patients can just come in and stock up, and if you aren't a current patient, schedule an herbal consult so we can get you armed for the rest of cold/flu season.
While we loved the building we had been in for the last 7 years, the owner decided to sell it and we had to find a new home. We found a great cozy office just a block away in The Carriage House at 420 S. Howes Street Suite 104. The new place is handicapped accessible and has off-street parking. The sad news is that due to space constraints, we will no longer be offering the group clinic. If you would like to continue treatment in a community-style setting, our colleagues at Source Point Acupuncture will be happy to take care of you.
